About

I have been making my instruments and refining my craft out of my shop in Glendale, Queens New York, since 2020.

I see guitars as a unique combination of engineering and art, they are a tool and also an aesthetic object. And in the best case scenario, both of these things are accomplished! As a luthier I have dedicated my self to finding the moments where the practical and aesthetic can be one and the same, where what looks good, sounds and feels good.

Living and growing up in New York has been invaluable to my career as a luthier. I got my first experience working in a guitar shop when I was fifteen, apprenticing with Mas Hino and Jimmy Carbonetti in their old shop in China town. After studying fine arts at The Cooper Union, I worked with Mas and Jimmy again making The Olinto Basses for Labella Strings, working on Jimmy’s instruments and working on some of my early instruments and repairs.

After the pandemic I landed a job at Sadowsky Guitars, where I’ve been since 2021, learning from Roger Sadowsky and Lukasz Gunia continues to push my skills as a luthier forward. My primary responsibilities at the shop consists of trueing and fretting all of the necks, general pre-production, and final assembly of the solid body guitar and electric nylon models.

My instruments are the distillation of all I have learned and continue to learn from these experiences. I hope you will enjoy my site and thank you for checking out my work!
