Small style

Standard style

The Scarab has two body sizes, the standard and the smaller body. The standard size sits more like a strat or tele style instrument while the smaller body is more compact. Both styles are comfortable and very playable.

The pickups can be mounted in various ways, you can see two different examples on this page. Pickups can be mounted to a pick guard, or in a cover with the height adjustment screws accessible from the back. The pick up covers can be made to match wood selections made else where for instance, or be made of what ever material, plastics, woods or metals.

Various types of bridges or tremolo systems can be compatible with either style.
